libnews-nntpclient-perl software package provides Perl module to access NNTP servers, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libnews-nntpclient-perl
libnews-nntpclient-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libnews-nntpclient-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libnews-nntpclient-perl *
You will get with libnews-nntpclient-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
